Lincoln University, Brayford Pool, Lincoln, August 2011

Green Build Energy assisted BAM Construction in incorporating a solar water heating system to pre-heat the domestic water for the university building at the University of Lincoln.

The solar thermal water heating system was designed specifically to maximize the solar yield of Green Build Energy's own high efficiency solar thermal system on the south elevation of the building, on a Facade. The orientation of the GBE 30'S System on this development offers the optimal level of solar radiation allowing the system to perform and generate high solar gains for this building.

Green Build Energy also implemented a heating support system to coincide with the solar and work together to achieve an optimum heating solution for the university.
