Green Build Energy Feature in Midlands press for Role In Groundbreaking Sustainable Project

Green Build Energy has played a leading role in the UK renewable industry by working on a housing scheme in Coventry which has become the first in the UK to receive PassivHaus certification.

PassivHaus is currently the world's fastest growing energy performance standard which, among other requirements, calls for a house to give an excellent thermal performance.

More than 17,000 homes have been built in accordance with the European passive housing standards since the 1990s but, only two in the UK have achieved this sought-after status.

For the Coventry scheme, Green Build Energy designed, supplied and installed an effective solar water heating system to 23 domestic properties which will play a vital role in reaching the target of improving energy efficiency, reducing energy costs for occupiers, by more than 50 per cent.
